To effectively remove and prevent the regrowth of roots in your sewer or drain lines, our team utilizes a video inspection camera and a high-pressure water jet with a specialized root-cutting nozzle. This combination allows us to surgically eliminate and forcefully expel all the roots inside the pipe. After the majority of the roots are cleared, we apply a foaming chemical herbicide called Vaporooter.

Vaporooter is a potent product that not only kills any root it comes into contact with but also eliminates roots beyond its physical reach, thanks to its fumigant properties. It can effectively eliminate roots up to 5-7 feet away from the pipe’s exterior.

To ensure long-lasting results, our experts at Rapid Flush will follow up with you six months after the root control treatment. During this follow-up, we will televise the line and inspect the pipe’s integrity to confirm that no roots have regrown. If we discover any signs of living roots during this assessment, we will provide a second application of the foaming herbicide at no additional cost.
